    Hi,

Don;t know if this is the best place for this thread...

I have 2 FGT exposed to the elements, ie sun and rain. A waterproof outlet is close by. I intend to introduce lighting and filtration so i will need lots of outlets. Does any of you fellow forummers have experience waterproofing electricals?

Plastic bagging is out because overtime plastic breaks down. I have thought of siliconing the whole powerstrip but that thwarts maintenance. Will post some images tonight. Thank you for all suggestions in advance.

if you are thinking about the wires, pvc pipes would be best for wear and tear, but if you want to shelter an electric pump then there will be a problem with the air flow.
pvc material can last for ages in my experience.
hope this is what you are asking.
    thnks
