    hey guys , just wondering if any of u guys saw cherry barbs ? im intending to add them in next week when it will be the 3rd week of cycling. preferable if the loaction is around serangoon or amk or hougang

    Rainbow is selling them... but at $1.5 a piece!!!

    I remember seeing them also at AMK Ave 3/10 I think...


    BTW, is cherry barb the same as rose barb?

    cherry bard is diff from rosy, much smaller and males are very red. They don't school very tightly but if you keep in groups of 6 or more, you can see males displaying full red bodies. I used to have several of them, always see them chasing each other in an 'Indian File' fashion all over the tank. Very fun to look at.

    Ben at TB market selling at $0.50 each, also have many other LFS selling at this price.

    if you're near lor ah soo, can try THAT FISH & PET PLACE and 108 AQUARIUM which is round the corner. seen them about a week ago. oh, or the LH shop between these 2 LFS.

    yeah, cherry barbs are VERY nice in planted tanks. male ones, rather...[:] sam's at marine parade had a couple in one of their tanks upstairs, can see 'samples'.[]

    I believe that there is one shop in Hougang, near the bowling alley, that sells them. Last time I bought at $0.50 each.

    er, careful when you choose mondays to go lfs-walking, cos some (if not most) normally close on mondays!
