Interesting, but can't advise since I do not see them in the tank a lot.

Hi bros,
Recently just shifted my 1.5x1.5ftx1 ft planted tank which includes 4 Indostoums paradoxus. However, found one of them with a lump in the belly and the body color a bit whitish. BTW, it is still actively hunting around for food around the tank.
Pictures taken as follows:
Judging from the body shape as compared to the others, I believed this is a female. Any bros seen this condition before?

when a female fish is carrying fertilised eggs it is said to be gravid. with a lump that shape, I doubt it is gravid.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Hi CK, actually this should be one of the 3 pcs that I had taken over from you...
Interestingly, out of the 4, I can usually see 3 of them at any one time, only thing is that they are very difficult to locate due their color and behavior.
Hi Uncle Choy, that's what I'm worried about too. Luckily, it's still quite active in hunting for food. Just that it sometimes have to tilt the body to one side due to the lump to reach the food. Maybe I'll try to take a video later.
