    Most likely due to your 40% change of water, you have caused PH to swing. 10-15% change would be ideal.

    H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide

    In Australia its available in chemists and also some supremarkets in the first aid sort of area. The one for sale is usually 5% here.

    Hi 4 Season,
    To add on to Graeme's...H2O2 or hydrogen peroxide is easily available in our Guardian stores at very affordable price. I only find that H2O2 isn't as effective when treated against plants infested with algae, especially BBA.
