Well I've started off the process.
Cleaned out my spare 3ft tank.
It's got an overflow filtration compartment in the right.
waiting for next month's salary to really get started.

You could place the skimmer in the 1st compartment if it could accomodate 1. What skimmer have you chosen?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.

    I purchased the following yesterday

    Orca Protien Skimmer
    Reefmax Salt
    A water Purifier.
    Glass SG meter

    Filled up my tank..
Set up the Powerhead.. you know.. to help circulate the water and dissolve the salt..
    Got the salinity right.
Placed the Skimmer in the First compartment. It could fit in the second part, it fit perfectly but I could not place it in a way where I can place the cup on properly.

    Next step

    Purchase
    Filter media
    A good T5 lightset
some live rock and live sand
    A wave maker
    A fan

    Pics..

Got 3 large pieces of Live Rock this afternoon. I really like them even though they cost me quite a bomb.
Anyway the one on the right seems out of place. It's rather large. I am thinking if I should break it into 3 pieces.

As your tank stand is not made of stainless steel, isn't it going to corrode pretty soon?
