The Trig. espei do better and look nicer in schools (i'm assuming 1x means you have 1?). Try and get at least 4-5 more
Yeah that was the only one left from old tank(the few pcs die in filter suction / jump out and so on) . Currently got about 28pcs cardinal inside the tank, maybe i should have bought Trig. espei. in the first place. Now the tank is too crowded already, wife loves cardinal, thats the least i can make her loves this tank. Maybe i should get few more pcs of Trig. espei.

try and get 3-4 more? they're really a very stunning fish. I understand about the cardinals being your wife's favourite fish, I did the same with my 4x2x2...bought 100 pieces to make her happy as it's one of her favourite fishes too. however, after the espei colour up and school in your tank, you might find her falling in love with them too mine is now requesting for 50 Trig. espei in the tank to school with the cardinals after seeing a small school of 6 in my apisto tank. their bronze colouration is stunning, to say the least!
If i happen to pass by LFS, will buy few more! Hopefully the woman will love it like your's! I realise there's different type of rasbora, here's the link >Here< . Thanks!

No problem! They really look quite similiar. You're most welcome! Yup! Saw in Biotope AMK, there's 2 type of Rasbora over there, one of them is really striking colour than the other and the red and black is different also, maybe these Sat if passby there will get some. Oh! If you coming i will pass you some Ludwigia Brevipes. Your mini riccia is growing well.

Myriophyllum Aquaticum (Parrot Feather), starts to grow beautifully.
Side view of the tank. You can see that the rotala has being trim to about 2" only, people dont get that busy because they didnt cut that short, and it need few trim to make it more bushy. Loves the moss grow on the anchor wood.

blue33,
your co2 concentration so high ? yellow ?
overall, i like the riccia growth. lush and nice.
as long as your fauna ok, leave it as it is
by the way the plant on the left the tall one not sure the name, maybe Pogostemon Stellatus, seem to be out of place. Maybe because it is wider then the rest of the plants make the tank look small. just my 2 cents
Those big one are the mother plant. Beside the mother plant i've plant quite no of baby Pogostemon Stellatus, waiting for them to grow to become more compact. Currently the rest of the plant has undergo major trim, so it looks bigger, i've remove "LIMNOPHILA AROMATICA", this is really GIANT plant to me.

very lovely tank blue...this is indeed an inspiration for my office tank rescape
I'm waiting for my Rotala sp. 'green' to grow high enough for me to trim so that I can have them nice and bushy...they grow really slowly!
