    Sounds interesting!

It will be good to gather a group of us to go together for the workshop, so that we can do sourcing of plants and material together in the future. Too bad I can't make it for 6th September workshop.

Warmest Regards from Merviso aka Merv Soh

I will go, I think it is worth the $80 then to spend another $80 on a failed terrarium.

I joined this workshop last year. It was really good! Not only do you get to learn different kinds of suitable plants with mix and match colours/ patterns, you also learn how to mix the soil properly which is very important for terrarium. During the workshop, you can create a terrarium yourself from the materials (you already paid $80, so NParks has to give something back right?) provided, under the guidance of a instructor.

    Hi bro wks,

are there any breaks during the session or have to sit through the entire session?? So do we still need to bring anything along for the workshop? How about plants/deco to be included in the Terrarium? For $80, even the container (or whatever you call it..) is included in the workshop?? If so, am interested in it also...

    Cheers!!

Hi beetlejuice403, you don't need to bring anything except a pen to jot down many useful notes. Just go with an inquisitive mind, you will find theres lots more to learn about plants. Nparks provides everything from gardening tools, flower pots (not those ordinary plastic ones), soil, decorative gravels to several species of plants. You can bring home your own terrarium after the workshop, so take your time to create some unique designs to your satisfaction.

There is no break, but you can go for you own toilet breaks at any time. Given that there are so many interesting things to learn and a hands on session, you won't find the whole workshop boring at all!

Give us your feedback here once you have attended the workshop.

Wah, this is really good ! I just want to start a terrarium. But I really can't join today's session so I hope there will be another one. Timing should be fine as I am working Saturday half day. It's free too Can we maybe organise the session based on number of attendance. Just a humble suggestion.

    Thanks moderator.
