Fertilizers to recommend

Hi All,

I am new and would like to have your thoughts on what sort of fert to use before i lay my gravel.. currently have a bottle of seachem excel and would appreciate if you could recommend other fertilizer for my new planted tank. Thought of having some glosso, mosses and other types of not so demanding plants... many thanks!

Liquid fertilizers would be good too.

I am using liquid fertiliser. So far, not very effective but it is very convenient.

yeah crusader. in fact i got a set of lushgro leftovers from a bro here whom i bought the co2 set from.

it comes with micros, aqua (liquid form) and Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) and POtassium Dihydrogen Phosphate (KH2PO4).

i have just used the aqua liquid so far as knowing that dosing micros further will result in excess fertilizer. am i right?

as for KNO3 and KH2PO4, can anyone enlighten me how do i dose these. i read http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/f...ing-guide.html and the calculator http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/f...fertilator.php but still not convince that i am getting it right.
