Ok, My 2 feet fish tank is infected with reddish hairy BBA EVERYWHERE arhhhh and I had ignored it at first but finally unable to stand it any longer so I tried ways to remove them but not very successful.

I had tried trimming, excel overdose, SAE, Yamato...but not very efficient...haha.

I have a seperate 2 feet cherry shrimp tank and I am in the process of checking how fast they can clean up BBA by planting those infected plants right into the cherry tank!!!

    Today is day one

    More photos here.

wow bro, you're quite brave! i would introduce the cherry shrimps to the tank with BBA instead of the other way round! haha.

hope the BBA doesn't infect your cherry tank too!

your bba has turned pink? That means it's dead. This is what happened when I dipped some anubias with a lot of bba into a weak bleach solution, this turned the bba pink, and the one small SAE I bought for the job cleaned it up easily. If the bba is black/alive then the SAE doesn't touch it.
