as above.. tank will be lapis sand with tetra base fert. lighting is 36watt over a 2ft tank(around 2 - 2.5wpg) no co2 or dosing of ferts at all..
i guess the tenellus will spread quickly but im curious about the downoi.

Dont know about tenellus but I used to have quite a good result growing Downoi in such conditions

Dennerle quartz gravel with just root monster. No dosing no co2

The downoi could grow and spread......had so much at one stage I could sell the plantlets

But my last batch just died on me when i pull out the mother plant to re plant...I guess it doesnt take too kindly to being disturbed once its well established in the tank

I'm sure that e.tenellus will grow well, even got them to turn copper red in my 1.5 nano tank with 11w lights switch on for 6-8 hours. Got them too in my 2ft low tech tank with no ferts or co2 although i'm using 48w t5ho
