Vivarium/terrarium crash course/setup in less than 2 weeks

Hello All,

I just had with me a L2ft x W1ft x H14 inch empty tank, washed and dried. I suddenly have this tremendous urge to start a vivarium or terrarium. But I have to set it up in less than 2 weeks ! (Hari Raya is just round the corner) I know for sure this will not be a short term hobby for me since I have been for quite some time long to own one.

So before I trouble anybody to teach me from scratch let me go through the threads and try to find the ones with some guides for really, really beginners and maybe links. But of course any tips you want to offer me is really appreciated Tips like where to buy the 'ingredients', etc at the best deal. I am staying in Yishun by the way...
