    Hi everyone,

I'm considering tying some US Fissiden on my driftwood, however since I'm new to this hobby, I'm not too sure what are the requirements for this plant. Does it need high lighting and CO2?

Also, if I were to tie it on my drift wood, any idea if it will creep across to cover the entire drift wood or would it just grow outwards? I'm afraid my driftwood would look "bald" with patches of fissiden. Do let me know, thanks!

Fissiden do need high lighting or co2 but grow better if there is co2 and cooler temperature. If you intend to tie on to driftwood it won't creep but will grow outwards.

Cooler temperature helps fissiden to grow faster.

There is a way for the fissidens to cover the driftwood.. just tie it on the sides and bottom of the wood and let it slowly creep over the top as it will try to grow over to get more light
