my 4ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft 3 wk old tank seems to have quite a lot of snails i killed 4 snails today, i heard that puffer fish will kill those snail from the other thread also heard that there are different type of puffer fish, some more agressive, some not so agressive. what type of puffer fish should i buy for a community tank( if the supply of snails is up, will puffer eat bloodworms ?). is there other fishes that are more suitable to solve the snail problem ? how many puffer fish should i get ? (hopefully a picture of the suitable type of puffer fish)

hope someone will reply to my noob question.

    thanks

puffers tend to become tail nippers
i suggest u try controlling the snails by hand
when you see one, crush one
before long they'll all go away

    which one is more troublesome?
catching a puffer in a planted tank?
or crushing snails when you walk by your tank?

    it's up to you
