Shot a fly during the weekend with back light instead of just front light. Thought I try something different and I must say the fly works well with back light. Anyway, here it is.

    Luenny,
Very nice, but why did you leave so much space at the top and bottom?
Afraid the fly got no place to move? hehehe just kidding

I wanted to go for a closer shot but it flew away. So only got this size one. Besides, I think the stem with the hairs and water droplets also form part of the pict. Without it must go in really and crop all out just shot the fly.

The water droplets on the stem makes the photo more interesting

    Luenny,
Good to see you have developed a style for yourself.
Your current post have always include part of the plant to make
the picture more interesting. I must try to catch up, sure am lagging far behind.

    Richard,
In this shot, I try to take the composition as the whole instead of just "portrait" shots always. I think that is one the important stuff that all photographers need to learn no matter what kind of shots you take - unless you're happy with taking record shots. Don't always go in for the closest-est-get-the-biggest-magnification shot. Sometimes, stepping back a bit can give you nice pictures too.
