    Hi Guys,

Need your help to ID the problem with my anubias nanas...

Have been growing them for 2 months together with pilea, java fern and java moss... Kept the and light condition same and they grew very well, even sprout new leaves...

Only recently have the edges of my anubias nanas have been turning yellow and become transparent... looked like they are rotting...

I did a 35% water change and clipped the dead leaves.. but that didnt work.. leaves are continuing to turn yellow and transparent...

Anyone experienced the same? Any remedy?

I have attached a pic for reference.

Your input is very much appreciated.

    Kind regards

Most likely nutrient deficiency. I also have this problem for those leaves that are badly shaded.

    Meltling Nanas

    Hi guys,

Thanks for your input : )

Finally got myself time off to visit an LFS to seek help.

They said there are lot of possibilites.

Got myself a PH Kit to test out the water... Got a 5.8 reading... which means the water is too acidic/CO2 content too high...

Added Plant KH and hope for the best...

Special thanks to k3nlim and uklau for your kind replies

    Cheers

Anubias is a very hardy & low maintenance plant. You don't have to be over worried about the water parameter. I have Anubias growing well in a tank with pH 5.8 (I blasted with lots of CO2 to combat BBA).

Maybe it is due to some changes in your tank's conditions. However, as long as their rhizomes do not melt off, they should be able to recover pretty well.
