Yup, I totally agree with you.

It comes in an assorted colours and till the extend that I often wonder if they're actually of different species and lfs brand them generally as Malayan Shrimps.

yeah i called at lunch uncle said they have alot...by evening auntie said lots of people either came to buy or called to reserve...she's very surprised as she said usually she keeps them for days and days and noone wants them.

Evo can go ask for a kopi already from them

Back to topic, I have 50 that I put into my new 422 in hopes that they will breed sufficiently prolifically that I will have an established supply of food for my altums once i transfer them in...i have seen red, blue, brown and transparent thus far, including one huge giant brown one with a cream streak down its back. it was sitting on the back of my tank looking like a grasshopper

Thats what they do in my L46 tank.... I'm surprised the population has not boomed despite their breeding... means they must have been eaten up by the L46....

Hope to do the same in the proposed office setup for Apisto... throw a handful in after cycling... then wait for them to propagate before puttin in my Apisto

if im not wrong.. the lava stage will float on water for a few days.. meanwhile i guess most fish will eat all of them.. unless you have lots of floating plant for them to hide..

savant, i remember in the past when i had my crs tank, during the cycling stage, i uses malayan to test water.

My apistos generally don't hunt shrimps for food. they love to kill the shrimp for sport. When i used to keep shrimp in the same tank as the apisto, they would tear the shrimp in half and leave both halves uneaten.

i used to keep 1 pair of agasizzi red-black and they hunt shrimp for food.. saw the male happily eating the shrimp..

I've just bought 100 pieces from C328 and they're now in my 4ft planted. Hopefully the fish wont go and chase them.
