Activated Carbon.

Hi,
Juz wondering wat Activated Carbon actually does.
Will it suck up the Nutrients tat our fertilizers Give out?
I noe tat it sucks up harmful things like Medicine. And stuff.
But the nutrients???

Basically carbon do absorb harmful but sadly will absorb your nutrinets e.i. ferts etc. That's is why in planted tanks, activated carbon should always be avoided.
