Wah a 3 inches what-do-you-call...... "femto"-tank? Haha.
Presuming that this is a typo and you meant 3 feet and not 3 inches, do a water change and add a combination of hornworts / hydrillas plus water hyacinth / lettuce into the tank would help, i managed to solve my green water problem this way too for a tub of water placed in my balcony for growing water lily.
If its really a 3 inches tank, just change water and maybe add 03 X duckweeds (just a suggestion, let me know if it works)? Haha.
Drop a couple of plants in and see the results in a few days, if not cleared, add a couple more plants. That's what I am doing in my 3 ft Goldfish tank.
1) cheap way: go buy yourself a bag of live daphnia. In less than a week the water will clear - as long as the daphnia arent eaten by any fish lol. Daphnia also has a bonus as being good starter food for young fish.
2) expensive but effective way: buy yourself a UV filter - perferably Corallife brand. I've seen it clear a tank in a day.
haha...its 3 feet. 3 inch would be a super-nano tank.
and thanks for all thr suggestions
