where can I find Pogostemon helferi?

Has anyone had any experience on Pogostemon helferi? Also, where can i find it? Is it expensive?

P.Helferi is also known as "Downoi". You may want to do a quick seach and find quite a few threads on this beautiful plant

Generally you may find them at Colouful, C328.. Prices can range from $2.50 a piece to $5 a pot of 2-3 Downois.

thanks. got a couple of pots from colorful today. btw, is it a demanding plant? (cold water, high light?) from tropica, it mention its a the easiest foreground plant but i read from other member saying its is a high demanding plant.

My downoi does very well in my low-tec tank just provide rich subtrate and I sure it will flourish.

its about a week since i planted these in my 1.5ft tank and i realised that the leaves seems to be melting
i have these planted in my one year old gex (red) soil with 8hrs 24W PL light with CO2 about 0.5bubble/second. i do doze NPK about every 3days.
does these meet the plant requirement?

i think its better if are able to get some root tablet for them. and since you are planting ur downoi in a soil that lower pHs.. downoi will melt away if you plant the stem in too.. only plant in the roots. best will be using lapis sand with base fert.

i'm thinking of planting afew downois in my planted as well. are they easy growers? my lightings are at 2.3WPG using lapis and AZOO base fert

just bought a pot of downoi at c328 for $3
got about 20 plantlets! looks like the price are dropping..

i bought mine at $4 and there was only 5 big stalks

one of the five stalks i have already turning botak soon! but there are new shoots coming out from all the of them! counted 8 new shoots!!
