Wa! Sharp sharp! You are getting better! Personally, I would have cropped it tighter. Last one might work in portrait.

I like the second, but with a tight crop. perhaps a little saturation boost?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

There! Nice! Although, what's with the aspect ratio?

    Richard,
Nice shots. Good to see you finally posting your bird shots again. Any reason why you are not using flash on this and using f5.6? I was hoping the whole bird would be sharp on the repost and the front part more bright.

    Luenny,
Thanks. I did use flash, but some shot it didn't fire cause battery was weak and not fully charged. F5.6? was trying to get the fastest speed available.

Didn't fire because of weak batt? What a waste.

    Hi ranma,
Thanks. I get to see these fellows every day too, the trees around my estate is full of these sunbirds. Most of them are impossible (too high) to shoot except for these which I shot from the overhead bridge.
Luenny, actually not too bad, some of those I shot with flash is not really not that much better.
