    Hi,
Went shooting last weekend and manage to get these. Pretty good trip, manage to find many subjects.

Mating shield bugs. Only manage to shoot one because of the pyramid shape the bugs form causing the other bug to be blur.

    Closeup view.

    Jumping spider eating a cricket.

    Bird dung mimicking spider.

Yup 180mm. Crop a bit around 5 - 10% as usual to get the framing right. The second one no crop.

Hahaha ... well, it would be nicer looking if birds produce nicer poo.

    Hi Luenny,

    Very nice series.
I like #1 for the color.

Hmm, dunk mimicking spider, what a shape
Did you pair your 180 with a teleconverter? The magnification seems to be bigger than normal.

I only use the TC for picture 2. The rest is pure 180mm.

Yup, tamron 180mm. But some of my friends produce similar results with Sigma 150 and Nikkor 105. I think it's not that critical. For the last 2 shots, I use stacking to achieve the DOF.
