Hi! I will be shifting my hino CRS to the office tank. (new upgrade to 35cm a few weeks later). I do not know what to add to my home tank. Easy to breed or nice to see or worth to have them?.... Maybe Malayan shrimps or Sulawesi shrimps or Fire Sakura Shrimp or 50 cardinal tetra... i really cannot decide... PLease see the tank and vote.

    Some considerations for you:

    1. 50 cardinal tetras in a 1.5 feet tank will probably be stretching the bioload and look cramped.

    2. Sulawesi shrimps come from biotope with alkaline and high temperature water conditions.

Both tetra and sulawesi don't need cool temperature which can help me save electricity on the 24/7 fan. I wonder if the shrimps too?

better stick to shrimps. Or around 10 small fishes.

This is how cramp my fishes are in a 40cm tank Coz the original intention was to introduce my 4yr old daughter the hobby. Everytime go LFS, will definitely buy 5-10 fishes. Had to stop myself from fish shopping. Now the tank has around 30+ fishes and more than 50 shrimps. Bioload is definitely too high.

After checking with LFS, i may need to adjust my "TREE" and reduce my gravel. On top of that, i have already removed all the mini riccia and all tie to small pebbles. For the fishes, i maybe adding 20 rummy nose tetra and 8 balloon pristella. That's should be the max already. No shrimps but will have some snails to clear wall algae.

HI just an update. Now my home tank, i have removed a lot gravel to make space and also i have removed all the carpet mini riccia. I have also adjusted the "Tree" position. I will try to post the photo soon. Lastly, the tank has just added 20 rummy nose tetra and 10 cardinal tetra. So far the rummy nose is leading the whole of these 30 fishes.
