thanks bros.. im tempted to get for my crypts and maybe downoi... but the price abit on the high side compared to other root tablets.. thanks!
One bad thing, you need to store it in dry place. after a while it absorb moister and disintegrate.
In tropical continent, esp in Singapore when it is monsoon, the average humidity level may get so wet (80-90%) and the hygroscopic tablet may collect moisture from air.
Hence it is advisable that the tablets should always be kept within the container when not in use, keep the seal properly shut and make sure the humidity absorber is inside.
When the tablet is used extensively and there is a need of removing related plant(s), you may snip off such plant at substrate level to avoid leftovers of the tablet from being unearthed to the water collumn. Vacuuming out of tablet debris may be necessary in cases such as when uprooting is done when the tablet has been just recently added/not well consumed.
I understand the problem with humidity, but it can be package such a way to protect it from moisture. For example, package the tablet individually like racetamol, panadol or strepsils or sera spirulina tablet.
During its trial period, I got 10 tablets from Ben (thanks man!)
I inserted those 10 tablets, about 3 weeks later, I noticed that my C. Wendtii (I think that's what it is) leaves were bigger and taller compared to those in others parts of the tank which I did not add the tabs. There were also red 'veins' on the leaves. There was no melting in my case.
Here's a pic I took couple of weeks after that.
I have circled the plants that had reacted well to the tabs. Basically. I only inserted the tabs on the near side of the tank.
The tabs didn't do much for my C. Parva though.
Unfortunately, I did not take a pic before I rescaped my tank 1 month ago.

hehe.. actually i looked around.. and wondergro happened to be one of the cheapest and greatest root tablet! i always thought that is expensive.. anyway, i bought a bottom of the wondergro root+.. i used for my tonina manuas, downoi, crypts and some other plants.. i'll see how is the growth.
WONDERful product.... Will stand by it as it 'revived' my dying crypts back then... (http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=41424) The melted crypts 'bounced' back to life & grown in about a month's time...
Still inserting it into my crypt tank now & then whenever I spot any crypts starting to show signs of melting or yellowish leaves...
Surely worth the investment (to me) & will continue using it in the future...

never mind then.
thnks.
guess by the time someone who got experience with gujing , and able to give me advice, my gujing would have gone to gujing heaven by then.
i am still struggling daily to resuscitate it but looks like it is melting right in front of my eyes.
cheers.
my dying gu jing did get revived by wondergro root+...however if your substrate is not nutritious, you need to "top up" monthly.
Just one tablet per plant.
