    I intend to keep exotic pleco in my new 2ft planted but not sure whether it will destroy plants or not

    SD, there are 3 main types of Plecos namely Vege, Omni and Carni. The Omni and Carni should do ok in planted tank eg Omni- L046 & Carni - L273. Some Vege. are also ok in Planted tank ! eg. Dwarf Royal Twig Catfish, Farowella, some bristlenose etc. Well ! check out www.planetcatfish.com for more info'. Cheers !
