i never know that corydoras need cave! The worst thing is that something once they got struck inside & do not know how to get out...they will end up dying there....
found this old vase in my mum's drawer .
asked her to give it to me to use as a cave for my cory , they seem to love it ! the vase even trapped an air bubble at the top portion inside ( see red circle ) of it making it into a "cave" effect the back portion has another hole to allow fish to tunnel thorough !
even found my guppies and a few tetra going in .;.. in search of food i guess
can you spot the hiding cory ?

the holes are bigger ( can squeze in 2 at a time ) and they simple swim in and out
I think they like to swim in and out of caves and tunnels etc. But usually I use driftwood to form the caves, it looks more natural.

my cories love to be out in the open... never see them hovering inside the cave before.
Yes, they like to swim in the open in groups...never lone ranger who like advantures
your so called "cave" looks out of place.
I saw that hidding corys.. Its so cute hidding in there

the color and decor is not right...u need to bend it into the surrounding to make it more natural
...so may i suggestion...silicon glue small pebbles or small wood (dw) pieces over it to cover up the porcelain surface. have some plants around it to blend it well against the surrounding like a real cave. basically nature look
