IMO H2O2 kill faster but maybe Excel safer to fauna.

How much did you pump in bro? On wiki, it says its a by-product of oxygen. Excel doesn't seem to work for me over the years.

I just squirted it 20mins ago. At least I can see immediate results as compared to Excel. The BBA turned white and started bubbling. Spots on my fissidens where BBA grown on, look like its a little dry after I squirted H2O2 onto it.

Do I need to squirt it over a couple of days? Or would the BBA disappear overnight?

Where can I buy Hydrogen Peroxide? What is the dosage like? I've got small spots of BBA.

BRO, find the root of the problem first...

few weeks back I just nuke my tank with H2O2 and Excel. Practically took out all my WOOD and trim my Java Fern, Moss, windelov...

Then paint the 9 pieces of wood with H2O2 and hear them sizzle! Before putting them back. I use brass brush to scrub them down (MESSY DUDE!) and apply a layer of excel!

UP my CO2... WOAH! the effect damn good!

    Today, BBA at me.

FEEL LIKE POURING 5 LTR OF BLEACH INTO MY TANK!

Anyway, I am thinking of using high speed grower like hygrophila to compete with BBA... If this fails, I am going to reboot my tank!

H202 available at Guardian, NTUC pharmacy... ~$5 should get you 500ml bottle

Bro, after treating the wood using H2O2, how do you clean it? Just by rinsing it with tap water? Soaking?

Will the H2O2 sips into the wood?

H2O2 is now considered a explosive precursor. I'm not sure if you can still get it from the pharmacy. It is not stable and will decompose to O2 and water so in that way, there are no harmful residues.

I was at Watson's looking around for a syringe. I saw H2O2 on sale as well.

Anyway - I decided to try injecting Excel directly over BBA, and it works - I think.
The small patch of BBA has turned purple in color. I think its dead, but now I have a small purple patch on my drift wood instead.

yes that sign of working, try another time. I'm afraid unless it turn white it might come back to live after that the yamato will take care the rest, assuming you have one .

Yup. Lots of bubbling after I blasted the BBA with it. The fauna doesn't seem to be affected by it in anyway. Even one or two cherries who went to ground zero to check it out, they're still alive.

Hi, pardon me on my newbie question. Do you dilute your H2O2? What's the dilution?

those H202 you get from pharmacy are already diluted... So use it directly from the bottle is OK. I keep my dosage under 5ml per 100ltr of water.

I did my DW out of water with brush! Best application! then hear them sizzle later use a brass brush and brush those dead on off.
