I'm not so sure Quixotic. That second lot look like xanthic Pristella maxillaris to me.

Haha, more man made forms? I am pretty sure they are the same as I have seen them at the LFS recently. They are actually stocked quite frequently here.

I have seen the xanthic form of P. maxillaris before, assuming we are talking about the same fish, where the (yellow?) markings are visible on the caudal and anal fins. Seems to be missing in the fish above though.

Possible var. of Pristella maxillaris, juv., in Russia known as Pristella maxillaris "georgetta". Sometimes albino and the normal form.

i'd agree with matt.. look at evolutionz batch.. they show the typical characteristics for that fish...especially at the dorsal fins.

Ooops, yeah, my bad. Upon researching, there seems to be several forms of P. maxillaris namely "gold", "georgetta", "georgetta gold".

What I can make out (hardly) is that the "gold" variant is probably the golden (or xanthic?) form of adult P. maxillaris, "georgetta" is probably transparent (leucistic?) form of juveniles while "georgetta gold" is the golden extension of "georgetta".

    So many bred forms...

I think "georgetta" is full black eyes.
