Growing gu jings in mid tech tanks.

hi.. anyone able to do the above?
my coasta island tank.. im tempted to get some gu jing to try out..
i use excel as co2. 1x36watt PL. a brand new phlips bulb.
tank is about 16 - 17 gallon. which makes it about 2 - 2.5WPG.
i use wondergro Root+ as ferts.. you guys think gu jing will be able to survive?

I did it before, using 22W over a 1ft cube, excel on alternate days and wondergro macro+ and micro+ ferts using Tom Barr's modified EI for low tech tanks
