bought this 2 new fish to beautify my workplace tank
but then don't know the breed
its about 5cm long and white with bit pinkish on head

btw what is it feeding habit?? it takes flakes but i am afraid that it is nt to its liking still
one of them is eating already but the other still nt that eating but swimmuing around freely though
Aren't you curious to know what species it is? Cichlids consists of a wide range of species, in the thousands, coming from various and different water bodies where the water parameters can be vastly different.
Knowing the species (or at least the genus etc.) would help you keep them in good health and beautiful. Isn't that what you bought them for in the first place?
i think i found out the species from google image but then cant find much info on it proberly due to it being a hybrid than a pure breed..
actually i bought it cause i need to make the tank more outstanding and just happen the white is striking enuff

They require hard alkaline water. Did you provide it for them??
Looks like the Golden lake Malawi Cichlid. The male is blue in colour and the female is yellow in colour. This looks like the albino form of it.
