I saw this at NA also, but uncle don't know the name.
Hi guys
Anybody knows what is the name of the plant and the growth requirements of the plant in the middle. Bought it from Y618. It actually shot up 1/3 in height in just two days. This pic was taken on Monday night 10th Nov and you guys can see that it is shorter than Rotalla. But today, it was the same height as Rotalla.

I saw this at NA also, but uncle don't know the name.
wow, what's that?
hope someone can enlighten us on our queries
btw bro, i think the plant on the left is not rotala but it's Ludwigia repens
Can't really confirm the ID but it looks like Hygroryza aristata.
If it is, it's actually a floating grass species.

look like that's it!
if only we have the picture of the bottom of the leaf, we can I/D it
If it's Hygroryza aristata, then i think it should be left floating instead of being rooted.
Let me post 1 more pic tonight
It has shot up to be taller than the other plants already and only had it for 4 days only.
Wow! That's super fast growth rate.

How does this look similar to the plant mentioned??
Hmm....interesting plants. Would like to know the name too.
Hi guys
Picture taken on Thursday 13th Nov. The plant has surpassed the Ludwiga plant already
So is it confirm a floating plant?
I've seen it in pictures as a floater too. Stalks are fat and buoyant.
Hmm...ok...seems like it is really the floating plant...let me post some more pics one it reaches the surface of the water. Should be in a few days time as this is really a fast grower.
If it is a floater plant, but grows so fast being "planted" in fishking's tank, what will happen if it remains planted?
maybe it can be grown planted down to gravel as well!
it seems to be doing extremely well!
It is growing very well...new leaves are sprouting already and reaching my water surface in 3 to 4 days time....
