bro, Most moss have no problem in water temperature between 27 to 29. but they need strong lights and co2. I tried, us fissidens, taiwan, mini taiwan, christmas, flame and java. so far nothing encountered. the rest i'm not too sure.

Thanks bros! Anyway I thought of having us fissidens & flame moss but I'm kinda concern about it turning brown with higher temperatures...... According to some, they need lower temperatures.

if you keep the tank from direct sunlights and with fan, you can control the temperature at 26 deg. i use only a single mid fan for 14 hrs. the temp is aorund 25 to 26. pretty constant. can try out. used to have one 4 fan chain. the temp go downs to 24.. but water dry up very fast.. hahaha

I'm currently planning to set up a 3ft tank with almost 2ft deep, would a single fan be enough to keep the temp down?

I'm looking for moss that has a rather nice growth patterns unlike java moss which seems to grow in all directions, giving that messy look ......

What about the colour? Do higher temperatures have any effect on its colour or growth rate?
