Eleocharis parvulus(dwarf hg) in contrary to eleo.acicularis(hg), is more demanding and needs plenty of light and nutrient iron. Growth rate weekly 1-2 runners. Good luck

I was previously using Excel and my HG are not growing. Now I have switched to DIY CO2, they are start growin now and the color become very green.
And You need to dose Excel every day. I don't want to take that burden anymore. Why don't you try with DIY CO2? The cost is only a few cents and you need to change only once a week or more. You can save your time compare to dosing Excel.

I don't think there is fix rule for dosing the ferterlizer. I am not sure. More experience bros may suggest this.

nope dont need to dose, its just extra. im running a 2 feet tank with the diy co2 directly to the inlet valve, 100% diffussion rate! excel could be use as an addition, because if you use instant yeast, the mixture will produce bubbles almost immediately
