bicarbonate of soda (yummy?)

guys heard that adding bicarbonate of soda or baking soda in a planted tank will increase certain ...........(Kh-not sure). is that true?

Yes, it's the cheap way to increase KH and stablised the PH. Some people add coral chips instead.

On the Bake King brand of Baking Soda, it also says &quot;...add a pinch ...when cooking green vegetables to help retain colour.&quot;
