    Roy ma man,

Imho yr setup is magnificient, BUT i would prefer to see more greenery. That will be nicer, and get more fish ler.

    Then looks more nature ya.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Trevor

    hi route

look nice to me....the two top pieces of rocks on the right side looks pretty unsecured, plus leaning on the glass?....just make sure that its not going to fall off.....

well the rocks are there to hide the powerhead for the moment. Trevor i'll be getting A nanas and Java fern , using them to hide the powerhead at the back so i can take down one rock from the right. anyway its very secure, no worries
    thanks anyway.

are you burying the roots of the java fern into the substrate?
    Dont. will kill them. "suffocate".

either you tie to the rocks or you form some crevice and slot them in firmly.

it looks nice but just some remarks i can make.
firstly i find the plants quite unnatural looking. coz ferns dont sprout from gravel. you can also improve the look by having other plants such as some anubia species.

secondly the rock pile on the right side doesnt seem very natural to me...but the rest of the tank are very fine. But thats subjective anyway.

i had a rock tank earlier too. just share with you here also. now it is torn down for a new setup.

    No plants inside though.

I think tying the ferns & nana to small rocks using plastic coated twist tie, cheap @ S$1.5 for 100ft frm hardware shop.

another thing is maybe u can cover Most of ur exposed rock surface with willow moss to give a mossy natural look but think quite a task anyway...

BTW, how much the 30kg of rocks cost u.. thinking of buying rocks too frm there..[]
Don't bother if its Black cats or White cats, so long as it can catch Rats. Its a Good Cat.

the rocks will have algae with time.

abt tying, i use very fine black steel wire i got from Homefix in bulk quite a long time ago.

fishing line too much hassle and hard to get it firm on rocks. wood yes but rocks harder

as i've mentioned earlier that i'll be tying A Nanas to the rocks on the right so that i dun have to stack them so high to cover the powerhead. thanks to all of you , will get some "string" and type the java fern to the rocks. happy fish keeping!

oh and my rocks cost me $3 per kg

IMO i would get more rocks. Yes, more.
I would put the ones that are on the right (leaning on glass) in the middle of the tank, and stack the rocks up higher..
    Just my personal taste.
