why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Did you over sharpened it? Can see some noise at the antenna area.
BTW, why you didn't use a "green card" for the background

Thanks guys, just a little problem will be the slight shadow cast by the butterfly itself onto the flower.
Billy i shot it at 1/2500s not possible to fence up a green card for that shot it was taken at a park, noise is my problem with ISO 400. Sadly.

It's my usual steps of applying USM. Thats why the other day i was so fed-up with the noise.

just process the RAW in DPP and sharpen there. I no longer use USM in PS.

Oh I see... D700... hmmm..... hmmmm....

This shot is taken at ISO 1000 with only a D300 and Tamron 17-50 f2.8, so D700 + your lethal lenses (knowing your taste).....

Billy i cannot even dream of ISO 1000 Sigh. I'm getting a new flash soon, so if i'm ever jumping to Nikon, it will be a waste.

Will try out the ty-series of Canon camera, fourty-D,Fifty-D & see how well are the ISO.

    Thanks all.

    Cheers!

Nice picture. I think a 90 degrees rotation would look nicer.
