Hi Sia Meng and those thinking of getting the flag fish,
I've been doing some reading and am willing to withdraw the idea of having flag fish as companions to my killies.... but perhaps only for a algae-ridden planted tank.
It's described as ... "The Jordanella floridae has a reputation of being pugnacious, classing it as a mono species fish".
Also, "The larger fry do not hesitate to eat their brethren" kinda makes me worry for younger killie frys seeking refuge in a permanent specie setup! The complete article to the quotes can be found here.
You have been warned!
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,
Ronnie Lee
