    Looking at its body shape and mouth. The genus is likely to be Fundulopanchax. As for the species it should be gardneri. From the 1st and 3rd picture the population code seems to be Nsuka, however I am unsure. You can call this fish as Fundulopanchax gardneri (aquarium strain).

    looks like you have a pair of Fp. GAR species there but I'd be very hesitant to tag a population code to a fish from unknown source... that's how some codes get corrupted in the first place.

    We've no idea how mature the fish is as the color markings aren't very developed but it doesn't look like a "N'sukka" (see pigment marking of the tail).


    Maintain yours as "aquarium strain" and learn from the experience. BTW, I see a fair bit of uneated adult BS! :wink:
