hi, i've got this problem. seems to me that two of my tanks are infested with this thin white worm thats been moving along the inner surface of the tanks. its a ciliate worm i think, cos i can see very tiny setae/hairs on the sides at an angle. first thought i had a flatworm problem. anyone has a cure for this headache??

    wanna kill em all...

This is usually caused by overfeeding. Cut down on the amount of food you feed and the worm will eventually disappear. For a quick solution, clear the whole tank and problem solved if it's not a planted tank..

    hi Au,

thanks for the response. i read about the overfeeding bit on a website somewhere. anyway, i've seen this product in the market called Vermex. it's marketed by Rein Biotech, the same company that produces BioHome. the info on the Vermex packaging says that it kills white worms in the aquarium without harming fish or plants. anyone used this product before?
