Lily's Hottonia palustris

Hi, folks,

Lily Choo whom I helped set up a tank recently sent me this picture last night. I only helped her set up the tank and didn't play any part in growing the plants. I'm impressed by one of her plants in the tank, the Hottonia palustris which seems to be growing very well. Here's a picture:



Lily, your tank looks great but it would be best if you can show us an overall picture of it.

Lily, you MUST keep them going, very nice plant. They will show their true "colour"/beauty when grew in dense group that takes up 30% of your tank space. This is the my most wanted plant. 3 years back, I grap hold of 2~3 stalks and I tried growing it without success.

Question:
Where did you got them? I need at least a dozen stalks.

I would love to show an overall picture of my tank but I just discard some plants recently and my tank looks very 'bald' now. Some of my plant didn't grow well and they rot. Will send you the picture when the plants grow again.

Honestly, I dont know the name of any plants in my tank but I can tell you where I got them from, it's Teo Aquatic of Lim Chu Kang Road.
