It would help us if we knew what medicine you put in? Also, does the medicine specifically say "safe for plants"?

it will be safer if u remove the infected fish and treat it separately
Plant talk...you might try looking into your tank's current water condition..might well be poor water conditions that trigger this problem. Do minor water changes daily might help to solve the root cause but to help your fish try to look for medication that is safe for plants. (Try to treat the fish in the main tank..I find that catching the fish out to a quarantine tank might stress the fish and cause more problems not to say the dramatic change in water conditions plus the fact that your quarantine tank water might not be cycled yet. Unless you have a quarantine tank running all the time?)
Interpet products are pretty good..you can try Anti Fungus & Finrot No.8 from interpet.

Its definitely safer for your plants if you remove your fish for treatment... but is not necessarily better for your fish. At the end of the day you have to decide which is more important - fish or plants? Then act accordingly.----------------

Kekekeke...plants can grow again from good cuttings but fish only have 1 life..and its game over..[:0]

I agree, fish is more important so I save my fish 1st heehee
some might disagree... this is especially through when comparing exotic and rare plants in a tank full of common fish like guppies.

i don't advise adding any med
the mentality that finrot -> add meds is not a healthy one
treat the root cause and the fish will take care of themselves
change your water regularly
finrot doesn't happen out of nowhere
good water conditions -> healthy fish -> strong immune system -> no finrot
ok?
