From my understanding, male do attack females. Will female killies attack the male?

I do have 2 older rachovii females and I would like to add a younger male rachovii into my tank. Will they attack him?

in some species i believe aggression is inherent in both species. usually its the males that get aggressive but sometimes even females will try to take a nip at the males.

jennifer, my recommendation is, u can try placing the young male with the females. but do keep an eye on the fish as and when u can. if u observe the male always cowering in a corner or with a ragged outlook, then most likely it has been on the receiving end of some abuse from the females. if the fish seem pretty harmonious then i guess its OK to leave them together.
    Fish.. Simply Irresistable
