looks very nice, how long did that take?

I think it has been on the wood about 8-9 days. Believe it or not, there are two SAEs in the tank right now. They have not shown any interest in it yet. I want to keep them in there for algae control because the tank is new, but I'll pull them the moment they start munching on the Erect Moss!
The stuff starts growing erect really quickly.

Hi, folks,
Dave, who didn't believe that adult SAEs munch on mosses, sent me this picture:
Congratulations, Dave. I see the Moss is really taking off in your tank. It may not appear to be obvious in the picture as I've shrunk it but I took a close look at the original one you sent and it's evident that your moss is being munched. As a bunch, the moss seems to be growing very well but the individual fronds seem stringy. There are not enough side-shoots, if you know what I mean. To me, this is a clear sign that something is eating the young tips.

There are only three Puntius desonii in there, along with cherry shrimp, otocinclus, and some Amano shrimp. I'll send another pic in a couple weeks so we can compare pre and post-SAE removal growth!

David Grim
Dave,
I do not know why but I never really have the skill to grow mosses and only mosses. Even Java moss is not excited with my water . And even if I smile at timebomb's tank a dozen times, the situation does not improve.
So, congratulation!
Hi, folks,
Dave took this picture of his Erect Moss, several days after he removed the SAEs from the tank. I think it's proof that SAEs eat mosses.
