I asked to Hwchoy about Aplocheilus parvus and he said me that I could visit this forum, so I am here.
I am a fan to aplocheilus genus, and I am looking for aplocheilus parvus 2 years during, but I never could find them.
Someone keep this species?
Is possible send eggs to other countries?
I hope yours replies
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Welcome to the forum, Josemari. The nick "Xema" makes it sound like you're a warrior princess so I rather address you by your real name.
Choy, is the Aplocheilus parvus in your picture the same as this fish?
These are killies that Madan caught from a river in India. I gave the adults to a friend the other day but I still have about 12 fry in my tanks.

Looks quite similar, I note the black patch on the dorsal fin, and yes the parvus is native to southern India. But I thought he brought you the blue panchax? This fish is supposed to be quite small, maybe about 3cm. The blue panchax is much bigger and a lot more common.

Josemari,
If the fish I have are what you have been looking for in the last 2 years, I would like to help you obtain them. But the problem is what I have now are juvenile fish and it will take some time, probably a few months, before they are matured enough to lay eggs. The guy who has the adults is Darren Lum. He's a member of this forum too. If he's reading this message, I hope he will collect the eggs and send some to you. Alternatively, you can try writing to him directly. His nick is "darrenlum".

You're sure you're not related to Xena, the warrior princess?Originally Posted by Xema
Okay, Jose, jokes aside, it's definitely possible to ship eggs to Spain, weather permitting, that is. Write to Darren and see if he's willing to send the eggs to you but please take note that he's a busy man so you may have to wait a while before he can send any.
