    Hi Guys

    Photograph taken from http://www.vernalpools.org/

This is quite similar to the brine shrimp we use to feed our fish. (This is fresh water)

Wow, it looks like a monster of a sci-fi film. Can these be harvested for live food?

Sia Meng, thanks for bringing this up... but is there a local source for these FWFS eggs? Would be an ideal replacement for daphnias too!

I doubt it is available locally. FYI most Fairy Shrimp (common name) species are classified as Endangered Species. Penalties for destroying their habitats in US are really heavy. You won’t want to mess around with these shrimp. Click this Link
