Real Cheap Adult Brine Shrimp

Hi Guys,

I went to Japan Ranchu Palace today and bought some adult brineshrimp for my fish. After I told him I only need $2.00 worth of BS, he disappear into a room. When he came out with the BS I was shock! The ruler in the photo is a 30cm ruler. $2.00 for this amount!! This bag is the regular bag use to pack 100 pcs of Neon Tetra!

Hey!! It is the sense of achievement for raising them to adults! Just like keeping a daphnia culture, which is so cheap and easily available here.

My killies went crazy when they saw the adult brine shrimp. I hardly see my Lagos coming out of the mop to eat and now they are chasing after the BS. It is really exciting.

1 other thing, please enrich your BS for about 1~2 hours before feeding or you will be feeding empty shell to you fish.

How do you enrich the BS?

Enriching them is basically feeding them with nutritional food. Eg. Lquid fry, Astaxanthin powder, cod liver oil or non favored liquid multi-Vitamins or Spirulina.

I use a mixture of Spirulina and Astaxanthin powder to enrich the BS.
