    Hi, everyone,

A friend who lives in the US of A insisted on buying some killifish eggs for me although I'm not really looking for any. She threatened to buy the eggs of the ugliest killies if I don't tell her exactly what species I want. I don't think there's such a thing as an ugly Killie but since she's so adamant, I might as well get myself some eggs. Don't you wish you have such great friends .

Anyway, I checked my latest edition of the BNL (The Business Newsletter from the AKA) and under Karl Walter's list, I've selected these 3 species:

    Aphyosemion poliaki Mile 29
    Austrolebias bellotti de Carmelo
    Callopanchax occidentalis Mangata

The reason I'm letting you all know the eggs I'm buying is so we don't end up with the same species. If any of you already have these fish, please let me know.

KL, I was doing some reading up on Callopanchax species at Tim Addis's site and it was reported that these guys are pretty aggressive. Why don't you give the poliaki a try again since you did have them once before.

ugly killies? is there such a thing

anyway I think you should get the ugliest ones, they deserve to be loved too

and yes, I promise to take their pictures
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

If I have a dollar & you have a dollar & we swap, neither is better off. BUT if I have an idea & you have an idea & we swap we are both richer

I second the choice for poliaki. It's a nice one! Not sure about the others tho.

Alternatively, any Ap elberti would also be great (if Karl has 'em).
