heh, you missed a small one  but I didn't catch it.

    KC,
A while back, Kwek Leong and I shared an order of 50 ANNs and over the course of 2 weeks, I had zero survivor. Kwek Leong did a little better, the ANNs lasted longer but I don't think he has any now.

My most recent batch, brought in together with Au's, has zero casualty to date. All are eating well and the females look great!

Oh... a special guest visited me last night and I gave her 6 juvenile ANNs (just to make you drool )
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,

No need to mention her name. I think I know who. Not many ladies I know (acquainted), can raise juvenile killi.

Since this is on Clown Killies and people looking for them, I hope I am not infringing rules.

Chong, any updates on the Pseudomugil tenellus?

For the rest who're looking for nice killie companions, I find Pseudomugil gertrudae doing a great job. Non-aggressive, slow growing and keep to their own.... flares their fins beautifully too!

I'm game for 50 of these Pseudomugil tenellus... anybody else?

Pics and details... Pseudomugil gertrudae and Pseudomugil tenellus

    Hey, guys,

If you are looking for Pseudomugil tenellus or Pseudomugil gertrudae, start your own thread, ok. This one is about Epiplatys annulatus.

Lily Choo, she of the satay stick fame, sent me these pictures of her Clown Killies. I don't know how she can tell but she says when the eyes turn blue, it's a sign that they are in the "mood for love". It could be perhaps, that Lily, being one of the few female Killifish breeders around, sees Killies differently or rather, she sees things that we don't. Whatever, when you see your spouse/girlfriend's eyes turning blue, remember to spring into action .

Heh, you're right... and I'll have to stop getting excited so easily

Lily's photographic skills have improved but I'm quite amazed she came up with that 'bluish=sexy' observation because I don't recall the young ANNs having colored up since they're only 12mm or so. (KC, did you guess correct?)

Those ANNs in the pics are the offsprings from the 2 fry I found in this thread... and I'm still out-growing some 2mm tiny fellas.

Are you kiddin' 3 kids is enough (any more and I won't have enough money left to buy killie eggs!)

Lily, if you're reading this, do come out of your shell... life's not much fun from behind the monitor
