If I have a dollar & you have a dollar & we swap, neither is better off. BUT if I have an idea & you have an idea & we swap we are both richer

you need to be registered with www.petfrd.com to see the picture.

Anyway, it looks like a Fissidens moss (don't ask me what species, there are hundreds of species and I am not a botanist!). Whether it is an aquatic moss showing its emergent form or a purely terrestrial species is another question.

It didn't grow in my tank and my friend's tank. In fact, I never saw this moss growing inside the water before. Anywhere I went.

    Tried Growing it for 4mths

But it just stayed stunted on my Drift wood! Looks Great if only it would grow in our planted Tanks.

    Regards
    Aldrin

    moss

this moss is known to grow at a rate of 2cm a year....

    i guess that explains it...

thank you all ...i still want to know the scientic name of the moss...its known as white moss to the botanist at BK reserve. It turns white when stored dry...and than returns to life when soak in water again.
