I read somewhere that moss grows faster in a low maintenance. I have just bought a 2.5 ft tank and intend to grow moss in it. Could anyone share with me his/her experience in growing moss in a low maintenance tank.

By low maintenance i mean i will only provide filter, no co2, lighting just half watt per gallon for 8 hrs a day. (do not wish to buy high end ligthing in the meantime) I will tie them in driftwood or mesh wire. Previously, i put some moss in a container and left them alone. They had survived for 3 weeks!

The reason why i am doing this is that the moss in my 4ft tank is not doing well. the growth has been stunted. The condition in my 4ft is condusive for other plants. (enuf lite, sufficient co2 and parament ok) Duno why...
