Thanx Kho. Do u know how i can grow them emersed?Originally Posted by shortman
They grow very well in a shallow bowl with some aquarium water. Place the bowl by the window and let it grow. Every one or two weeks, change the water with your aquarium water.

I not too sure as I use un-traditional method.Originally Posted by bad_boyz
What I did is that I have floating riccia and I rest the pelia on it and grow will. BTW I am using MH lighting.
Another way is that put pelia on a rough surface so it stick there use a small water pump to provide running water over the pelia.
Just back from Teo place he has some pelia growing emerse.
Best Regards
Is that so. The last time I went to Teo's, he was growing them in plastic baskets which was submerge in water.
Running water is hardly necessary to grow any but the most delicate Cryptocorynes in their emersed states (I have some emersed griffithii and nurii, which I maintain in gently circulating water).
Plants will even grow emersed in plastic milk jugs/water jugs cut in half.
I keep many emersed plants in a small greenhouse with little care or equipment...
